The goal of the google maps addition is to allow each artist represented on the site to have the ability to compare locations with one another. Each artist's profile will have a map representing their personal location, with the option to also open a secondary map with the entire FreeArt community to browse through. With this installation, we hope that people will begin to realize that our small towns are filled with hundreds of talented people looking to collaborate and learn from one another.
